(NSI News Source Info) TORONTO, Canada - May 21, 2013: U.S. Department of Defense, Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense (Public Affairs) Contracts issued  May 21, 2013  are undermentioned;

CONTRACTS
NAVY
            Alutiiq Pacific LLC*, Anchorage, Alaska (N39430-13-D-1264); Securityhunter, Inc.*, Baltimore, Md. (N39430-13-D-1265); and Split Pine Technologies, LLC*, Tallahassee, Fla., (N39430-13-D-1266) are each being awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award contract for physical security access control at Navy shore installations throughout the world, including joint bases assigned to the Navy.  The maximum dollar value including the base period and two option years for all three contracts combined is $99,000,000.  The work to be performed provides for the design, procurement, installation, integration, testing and initial training for anti-terrorism force protection (ATFP) hardware and software at Navy shore installations throughout the world, including joint bases assigned to the Navy.  Securityhunter, Inc., is being awarded task order (#0001) at $2,698,396 for the design, procurement installation, integration, testing and initial training for ATFP hardware and software of the General Enclave and Automated Vehicle Gate Low Volume Reeves Gate at Naval Air Station Lemoore, Lemoore, Calif.  Work for this task order is expected to be completed by November 2014.  All work on this contract will be performed at Navy shore installations throughout the world, including joint bases assigned to the Navy.  The term of the contract is not to exceed 36 months with an expected completion date of May 2016.  Fiscal 2013 Other Procurement, Navy funds in the amount of $2,718,396 are obligated on this award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website, with 16 proposals received.  These three contractors may compete for task orders under the terms and conditions of the awarded contract.  The Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center, Port Hueneme, Calif., is the contracting activity. 

            Lockheed Martin Corp., Palm Beach, Fla., is being awarded a not-to-exceed $52,947,551 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to perform maintenance, testing and integration of the Remote Minehunting System with Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) mission modules and LCS seaframe programs.  Work will be performed in Palm Beach, Fla. (80 percent), and Syracuse, N.Y. (20 percent), and is expected to be completed by May 2016.  Fiscal 2013 Research, Development, Test & Evaluation funding in the amount of $8,500,000 will be obligated at time of award.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was not competitively procured pursuant to 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1).  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-13-C-6300). 

            Integration Technologies Group, Inc., Falls Church, Va., is being awarded a $20,279,774 firm-fixed-price delivery order (#7N01) under previously awarded contract (W91QUZ-06-D-0005) to provide ONE-NET PC refresh hardware to various locations outside the continental U.S. locations.  The government will receive the first order for desktops, notebooks, or tablets for testing, inspection and approval.  On government acceptance of the first unit, the contractor will deliver additional units ordered to locations specified.  This two-year delivery order includes one, two-year option which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative, not-to-exceed value of this delivery order to an estimated $40,559,548.  Work will be performed at the contractor’s facilities in Falls Church and delivered worldwide, and work is expected to be completed May 20, 2015. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Fiscal 2013 Other Procurement, Navyfunds in the amount of $30,000 will be obligated at the time of award.  This delivery order was competitively procured via a request for quotation submitted to all eight contractors under Army Chess Army Desktop and Mobile Computing (ADMC-2) multiple award contracts, with four proposals received.  The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity. 

            BAE Systems, Electronic Systems Division, Wayne, N.J., is being awarded a $7,383,414 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the acquisition of hardware, software, performance enhancements and maintenance of BAE Software Compliant Architecture Common Data Link family of products.  Work will be performed in Greenlawn N.Y. (60 percent), and Wayne, N.J. (40 percent), and is expected to complete by May 2018.  Fiscal 2013 Research, Development, Test and Evaluation funding in the amount of $540,774 will be obligated at time of award.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was not competitively procured in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.  Reference FAR 6.302-1.  The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Va., is the contracting activity (N00178-13-D-3003). 

            Bechtel Plant Machinery Inc., Monroeville, Pa., is being awarded a $7,100,321 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-12-C-2106) for Naval Nuclear Propulsion Components.  Work will be performed in Monroeville, Pa. (80.4 percent), and Schenectady, N.Y. (19.6 percent).  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  No completion date or additional information is provided on Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program contracts.  The Naval Sea Systems Command is the contracting activity. 

AIR FORCE
            DRS Environmental Systems Inc., Cincinnati, Ohio, has been awarded a $25,536,214 fixed-incentive-firm contract for development, procurement, initial spares and training for 28 Transporter Erector Vehicles to support the Minuteman III fleet.  Work will be performed at Cincinnati, Ohio, and is expected to be complete by Sept. 30, 2019.  This award is the result of a competitive acquisition through FedBizOps website with two offers received.  Type of appropriation is fiscal 2013 through 2015 Research and Development funds and fiscal 2015 through 2019 Procurement funds.  Funding in the amount of $5,368,011 will be obligated at time of award.  Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center/PZBA, Hill Air Force Base, Utah is the contracting activity (FA8204-13-C-0010). 

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
            Raytheon Company, McKinney, Texas, has been awarded a maximum $14,606,048 firm-fixed-price, sole-source contract for sensor-sight turrets.  Location of performance is Texas with an Aug. 31, 2015 performance completion date.  This contract involves foreign military sales to Australia.  Type of appropriation is fiscal year 2013 through fiscal year 2015 Foreign Military Sales funds.  The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, Philadelphia, Pa.; (SPRPA1-09-G-001X-1074).
