Wilson is assigned to Fox Company, 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment. The Marines conducted patrols to collect human terrain and clear the area of weapons and improvised explosive devices.

Jason Halgren, center, work with an Afghan border policeman explosive ordnance disposal trainee to prepare explosives for a controlled detonation in the Spin Boldak district in Afghanistan’s Kandahar province, July 28, 2013.
